Pizza Dough Recipe

Ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour (Maida): 2.5 cups

  • Warm water: 1 cup

  • Active dry yeast: 2 teaspoons

  • Sugar: 1 teaspoon

  • Salt: 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

  1. Activate the Yeast:

    • In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast.

    • Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until it turns foamy, indicating the yeast is activated.

  2. Prepare the Dough:

    • In another large bowl, combine flour and salt.

    • Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour. Mix well to form a dough.

  3. Knead the Dough:

    • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

    • If the dough feels sticky, sprinkle some extra flour while kneading.

  4. Let the Dough Rise:

    • Grease a large bowl with olive oil and place the dough inside.

    • Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

  5. Punch Down and Shape:

    • Once risen, punch down the dough to release air bubbles.

    • Roll the dough to your desired pizza shape and thickness.

  • Zaitoon ka tel (Olive oil): 2 tablespoons

Vidhi:

  1. Yeast Activate Karein:

    • Ek bade bowl mein gunguna paani, cheeni, aur yeast milayein.

    • Mixture ko 5-10 minutes ke liye rakhein jab tak ye foamy na ho jaye. Ye yeast ke activate hone ka sign hai.

  2. Dough Taiyaar Karein:

    • Ek aur bade bowl mein maida aur namak mix karein.

    • Yeast mixture aur zaitoon ka tel ismein daal kar dough banayein.

  3. Dough Ko Knead Karein:

    • Dough ko ek lightly floured surface par nikaal kar 5-7 minute tak knead karein jab tak ye smooth aur elastic ho jaye.

    • Agar dough sticky lage, to thoda aur maida daalein.

  4. Dough Ko Rise Hone De:

    • Ek bade bowl ko olive oil se grease karein aur dough usmein rakhein.

    • Bowl ko damp cloth ya plastic wrap se cover karein aur dough ko warm jagah par 1-2 ghante tak rise hone dein, ya jab tak dough double na ho jaye.

  5. Punch Down aur Shape Karein:

    • Dough jab rise ho jaye, to usse punch down karein aur extra air bubbles nikal dein.

    • Apne desired pizza shape aur thickness mein roll karein.
